Hero fundraiser Steve Watton has donated the latest of many cheques for Plymouth Highbury Trust.
Steve has raised thousands of pounds over the past five years for the charity, which supports more than 600 adults with a learning disability.
On this occasion, Steve set himself the goal of carrying a rear JCB tyre over a 100-yard course – in the end he managed almost 300 yards.
He raised more than £300 which will go towards the latest fundraising campaign to buy a much-needed new minibus.
Highbury Trust general manager Martin Newman said: “Once again Steve has pushed himself to raise a significant amount of money which will go towards buying a new vehicle to replace an ageing, increasingly unreliable minibus. All at Highbury really appreciate his efforts.”
