Tudor trading

By Toby Leigh in Arts

Totnes has Tudored up for a bit of a song and a dance.

The town’s Tuesday market has been showing off its Elizabethan credentials with a visit from the Exeter Tudor Dancers.

Dressed in Tudor costumes, they put on a show of dancing for the visitors looking over the market in the town’s Market Square. It was the second visit by the Exeter dance team and they will be back again for more visits this month, August and September.

The annual Totnes Elizabethan Market, made up of charity and craft stalls, started this year’s season at the beginning May and will be in action every Tuesday until September 26.
